Wild Pines Marketplace
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These Marketplace Rules establish conduct standards for buyers, sellers, listings, transactions, communications, and other activity on Wild Pines Marketplace ("Wild Pines").
These rules supplement the Wild Pines Terms of Service, Seller Agreement, Buyer Protection Policy, Shipping Policy, Prohibited Items Policy, Privacy Policy, and Intellectual Property Policy.
Wild Pines provides the Platform and may enforce these rules, but the independent seller remains responsible for the merchandise, listing, fulfillment, and seller-specific legal obligations. These rules do not make Wild Pines the seller, shipper, carrier, insurer, or owner of a third-party item.
Users must provide materially accurate information and interact with other marketplace participants honestly.
Fraud, deliberate deception, impersonation, transaction manipulation, fabricated evidence, and intentional misrepresentation are prohibited.
A transaction initiated through Wild Pines must not be intentionally redirected outside the Platform for the purpose of avoiding Wild Pines checkout, marketplace charges, Buyer Protection, payment processing, transaction records, or other marketplace requirements.
Buyers and sellers should complete marketplace purchases using the checkout and payment systems provided by Wild Pines.
Sellers may not use Wild Pines as a source of customer leads for an independent business or outside marketplace.
Sellers may not solicit, encourage, or direct Wild Pines buyers to purchase marketplace merchandise through:
A seller may not ask or encourage a buyer to cancel, abandon, refund, or otherwise avoid a Wild Pines transaction so that the same or a substantially related purchase can be completed outside Wild Pines.
Buyer information made available to a seller through Wild Pines is provided for legitimate transaction fulfillment, transaction support, shipping, returns, legally required recordkeeping, and other purposes expressly authorized by Wild Pines or applicable law.
Access to buyer information does not transfer ownership of that information to the seller and does not make a Wild Pines buyer part of the seller's independent marketing database.
Sellers may not scrape, export, copy, compile, aggregate, purchase, sell, rent, license, or otherwise use Wild Pines buyer information to create or expand an independent customer or prospect database.
This includes information obtained through orders, shipping labels, messages, profiles, support interactions, transaction records, or other Wild Pines functionality.
Sellers may not use buyer contact information obtained through Wild Pines to send independent advertising, promotional email, SMS marketing, direct mail, sales calls, or other unrelated commercial solicitation without an independent lawful basis and any consent required by applicable law.
Legitimate communication necessary to complete or support the Wild Pines transaction is permitted.
Sellers may not upload buyer information obtained through Wild Pines to advertising networks, customer-matching services, audience tools, retargeting platforms, social-media advertising systems, or similar services for independent marketing or customer acquisition.
Sellers may not sell, rent, license, disclose, trade, commercially exploit, or provide Wild Pines buyer information to another business or person except as legitimately necessary to fulfill the Wild Pines transaction or comply with applicable law.
Sellers may not use Wild Pines shipments primarily as advertising for an outside sales channel.
Sellers may not include business cards, coupons, flyers, QR codes, promotional inserts, external payment instructions, website addresses, or similar materials when their purpose is to encourage a Wild Pines customer to bypass the Platform for future marketplace transactions.
Legitimate product documentation, manufacturer information, warranty materials, safety information, care instructions, authenticity information, and other materials reasonably associated with the merchandise itself are permitted.
Users may not structure transactions, communications, refunds, cancellations, shipping arrangements, payment requests, or other activity for the purpose of improperly avoiding Wild Pines charges or marketplace requirements.
Sellers may not request payment for a Wild Pines marketplace purchase through cash-transfer applications, wire transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards, checks, direct card processing, cash, or another outside payment method in order to bypass Wild Pines checkout.
Listings must accurately describe the merchandise being offered, including material information concerning condition, quantity, brand, model, size, compatibility, defects, damage, authenticity, and included components when applicable.
Sellers may not intentionally conceal material defects or use misleading photographs, titles, descriptions, categories, or attributes.
Sellers may not create fake listings, nonexistent inventory, bait listings, listings designed only to collect contact information, or listings whose primary purpose is to advertise an outside business.
Sellers must accurately represent what one purchasable listing unit contains.
If a listing represents a complete set, quantity one means the buyer is purchasing that complete set even when fulfillment requires multiple physical shipping packages.
Sellers must have a lawful and reasonable ability to provide the merchandise offered for sale.
Repeated cancellations caused by unavailable inventory, unreliable sourcing, or listings the seller cannot fulfill may result in marketplace restrictions.
Users must comply with the Wild Pines Prohibited Items Policy.
Users may not attempt to evade prohibited-item rules through misspellings, coded language, incorrect categories, misleading photographs, private messages, or other concealment.
Counterfeit merchandise is prohibited.
Sellers must not represent counterfeit, replica, imitation, or unauthorized merchandise as authentic.
Sellers must not knowingly offer merchandise that is unlawful to resell because of a legally applicable recall, safety prohibition, or other regulatory restriction.
Users must respect copyright, trademark, patent, publicity, and other applicable intellectual-property rights.
Users may not knowingly submit false intellectual-property complaints to interfere with another seller.
Sellers must package merchandise appropriately, use the correct shipping label, provide materially accurate package information, and ship all merchandise included in the transaction.
Sellers may not use false tracking numbers, intentionally ship empty packages, substitute merchandise, or manipulate tracking.
A seller may not represent that merchandise has been shipped merely because a shipping label was generated.
Wild Pines may rely on carrier or shipping-provider tracking events to determine when a package has entered transit.
Buyers must use the marketplace and Buyer Protection process honestly.
Buyers may not make knowingly false non-delivery, damage, authenticity, condition, or return claims.
Buyers may not return a different item, remove components, substitute merchandise, intentionally damage merchandise, or falsely claim an item was returned.
Users may not intentionally obtain both merchandise and a refund when they are not legally or contractually entitled to retain both.
Knowingly false, fraudulent, or intentionally duplicative payment disputes are prohibited.
Nothing in this rule limits legitimate payment-dispute rights provided by applicable law or card-network rules.
Reviews, ratings, and marketplace feedback must reflect genuine transaction experiences and may not be fabricated or materially manipulated.
Users may not:
Users may not manipulate search, favorites, views, sales history, seller metrics, transaction volume, pricing displays, reviews, account reputation, or other marketplace systems through fraudulent or artificial activity.
Users may not create or operate additional accounts to evade a suspension, transaction restriction, seller-verification requirement, account limit, enforcement action, or marketplace policy.
Users must provide materially accurate account information and may not impersonate another person, business, seller, buyer, Wild Pines employee, or other entity.
Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Users may not knowingly obtain or attempt to obtain another user's password, authentication code, financial credentials, or other security information.
Wild Pines is intended to be a safe, respectful, and professional marketplace. Buyers, sellers, and other users are expected to treat one another, Wild Pines personnel, service providers, and other participants with reasonable respect.
Users may not harass, bully, stalk, threaten, intimidate, extort, abuse, deliberately humiliate, or engage in other targeted conduct reasonably intended to frighten, coerce, or seriously disrupt another person.
Legitimate disagreement about a transaction, refund, return, review, listing, shipment, payment, account action, or marketplace decision does not excuse threatening, abusive, harassing, or retaliatory conduct.
Users may not engage in hate-based conduct, sexual harassment, unwanted sexual conduct, or unlawful discrimination through Wild Pines.
Where prohibited by applicable law, users may not refuse, interfere with, restrict, condition, or otherwise discriminate in marketplace participation or transactions because of another person's protected characteristics.
Protected characteristics may include, depending on applicable law, race, color, national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, religion, creed, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, age, marital or familial status, military or veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law. This list is illustrative and is not intended to limit protections provided by applicable law.
Listings, listing photographs, profiles, usernames, biographies, messages, reviews, comments, transaction requirements, and other content may not contain unlawful discriminatory restrictions, targeted harassment, credible threats, prohibited hate-based content, or sexual harassment.
Users may not use slurs, degrading attacks, threats of violence, or targeted statements advocating violence or serious harm against a person or protected group where such conduct violates Wild Pines policies or applicable law.
Users may not repeatedly contact another user for the purpose of harassment after being clearly asked to stop when continued contact is not reasonably necessary to complete a transaction, address a legitimate dispute, satisfy a legal obligation, or communicate through an authorized Wild Pines process.
Users may not retaliate against another person for making a good-faith report, requesting Wild Pines Support, participating in an investigation, raising a Buyer Protection issue, asserting legal or contractual rights, reporting suspected fraud or prohibited conduct, or leaving an honest review consistent with Wild Pines policies.
Retaliation may include threats, harassment, discriminatory treatment, knowingly false reports, attempts to interfere with another user's account or business, misuse of personal information, or other adverse conduct undertaken because a person exercised a legitimate marketplace or legal right.
Nothing in this rule prevents users from communicating factual, relevant, and appropriately expressed concerns about a transaction, reporting suspected misconduct, cooperating with an investigation, pursuing legally available remedies, or providing an honest review consistent with Wild Pines policies.
Wild Pines may investigate suspected violations and, subject to the Terms of Service and applicable law, may remove content, restrict communications, limit marketplace functionality, cancel affected transactions where appropriate, suspend selling privileges, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant evidence, or take other reasonably appropriate action.
Users may not publicly post another person's sensitive personal information without lawful justification.
This includes passwords, financial credentials, government identification numbers, or other information that creates a substantial privacy or security risk.
Users may not send repetitive, unsolicited, deceptive, or irrelevant commercial messages through Wild Pines.
Marketplace messaging should be used primarily for legitimate marketplace and transaction purposes.
Users may not scrape, crawl, harvest, systematically extract, or use automated systems to collect Wild Pines listings, user information, pricing, customer information, or other Platform data except as expressly authorized by Wild Pines or permitted by applicable law.
Users may not use bots, scripts, automated accounts, or similar tools to manipulate purchases, listings, inventory, reviews, messages, seller metrics, promotions, or other marketplace functionality.
Users may not intentionally interfere with Platform operation, bypass access controls, exploit vulnerabilities, introduce malicious software, overload systems, or attempt unauthorized access.
Good-faith security research should be conducted only through a process expressly authorized by Wild Pines.
Users may not abuse promotional programs through fake accounts, coordinated transactions, self-purchases, false identities, or other activity designed primarily to obtain benefits for which the user is not eligible.
Sellers may not purchase their own merchandise through another account or coordinate sham transactions for the purpose of creating artificial sales history, reviews, promotional eligibility, payout activity, or marketplace reputation.
Sellers must provide information reasonably required for payment, identity, tax, fraud-prevention, or legally required marketplace verification.
Sellers may not falsify verification information or intentionally use another person's identity to avoid marketplace requirements.
Sellers subject to applicable high-volume third-party seller laws must timely provide, verify, certify, and update information required by Wild Pines for legal compliance.
Wild Pines may suspend selling activity when required information is not provided after applicable notice and opportunity to comply.
Users may not intentionally provide false location, transaction, exemption, identity, or other information to improperly avoid tax obligations.
Buyers and sellers must cooperate reasonably with legitimate investigations involving payments, shipping, fraud, Buyer Protection, prohibited merchandise, authenticity, intellectual property, or marketplace safety.
Users may not fabricate, alter, manipulate, or intentionally misrepresent photographs, shipping records, receipts, tracking information, communications, authentication records, or other evidence submitted in a marketplace dispute.
Users may report suspected violations through Wild Pines reporting or support systems.
Reports should be made in good faith and include enough information to identify the issue when reasonably possible.
Users may not knowingly submit false reports or repeatedly misuse reporting systems to harass competitors, buyers, sellers, or other users.
Depending on the circumstances, Wild Pines may remove content, restrict listings, cancel affected transactions, delay or hold eligible proceeds where permitted, limit account functionality, suspend selling privileges, or suspend or terminate accounts.
Enforcement may consider the severity of the conduct, transaction risk, user history, available evidence, legal requirements, and marketplace safety.
Wild Pines considers deliberate customer diversion, unauthorized use of buyer information, and systematic off-platform solicitation serious marketplace violations.
Repeated, intentional, fraudulent, or material violations may result in suspension or termination of selling privileges or the account, subject to the Terms, applicable law, and other available remedies.
Restrictions concerning buyer information, privacy, fraud, intellectual property, customer diversion, confidential information, and other provisions that by their nature should continue remain applicable after completion of an individual transaction.
Closing or losing access to a Wild Pines account does not authorize a former user to misuse buyer information, transaction records, intellectual property, confidential information, or other information obtained through the Platform.
Wild Pines may update these Marketplace Rules prospectively as marketplace features, fraud patterns, safety considerations, legal requirements, payment requirements, or shipping requirements evolve.
Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
Marketplace conduct concerns may be submitted through Wild Pines Support or an applicable listing, order, or account reporting function.
